These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Table Reads (the "Service"), operated by Sa-Loan Productions LLC ("Table Reads," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
Table Reads lets you upload a screenplay (PDF, Final Draft, Fountain, or plain text) and generates an AI-narrated, multi-voice audio performance of it — a "table read" — along with tools to review it: scene-by-scene playback and export, per-line voice regeneration and alternate takes, self-tape practice tracks, shareable links, and collaborator notes.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and subscribe to a paid plan. You're responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
Table Reads is offered on paid monthly subscription plans (currently First Read, Table Read, and Full Production), each including a set number of scripts per month up to a page limit, as described on our pricing page. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
All payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We never receive or store your full card details.
You keep all rights to the screenplays you upload and the audio Table Reads generates from them. We don't claim ownership of your content.
By uploading a script, you represent and warrant that you own it or otherwise have the legal right to use it with a service like ours — for example, as the writer, an optioning producer, or someone with the rights-holder's permission. You're solely responsible for the content you upload and for having the rights to it.
To provide the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your uploaded content — including sending script text to third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy — solely for the purpose of generating your table read and operating the Service for you. We don't use your script content to train AI models, and we don't share it with anyone except as needed to run the Service or as you direct (for example, by creating a share link).
Copyright complaints. If you believe content uploaded by another user infringes your copyright, contact us at the email below with (a) a description of the copyrighted work, (b) the location of the infringing material on the Service, (c) your contact information, and (d) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We'll investigate and remove infringing content where appropriate.
The voice performances Table Reads generates are synthetic — produced by third-party AI voice technology, not by human actors. They're intended for creative development purposes: hearing your script performed, practicing lines, and sharing a read with collaborators. They are not a substitute for professional casting, voice acting, or a finished audio production, and shouldn't be represented as human performances.
Table Reads lets you generate a shareable link to a finished table read. Anyone with that link can listen to it and leave notes, without needing an account. You control who receives that link and are responsible for that choice — treat it like sharing any other file. You can revoke a share link at any time from within the app.

Table Reads relies on third-party providers to operate — including authentication, payment processing, and AI voice/text processing. Details of what's shared with each are in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service is also subject to those providers' own terms where applicable.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will meet any particular standard of quality or accuracy.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Table Reads and its operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold Table Reads harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms — including claims that content you uploaded infringed someone else's copyright.
You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify active subscribers.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Maryland, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
